Project Overview
Commissioned to visualize "Lintas Lantis," the debut showcase of The Lantis held at Krapela. Through direct brainstorming sessions with the band and Warner Music Indonesia, I was tasked to translate the event's "Crossing Time" theme into a tangible visual identity. The scope encompassed everything from the main Key Visual poster to the exclusive merchandise line (t-shirts & stickers), creating a unified aesthetic that celebrated their musical journey.
My Approach
We agreed on a "Risograph" visual direction to capture the eccentric and retro atmosphere of the showcase. I purposely utilized the gritty, imperfect texture of Risograph printing to evoke a sense of nostalgia.
To reinforce the "Lintas Lantis" (Crossing Time) narrative, I incorporated a collage of raw performance photos into the poster design. This blending of archive documentation with vibrant Risograph colors acted as a visual timeline, honoring the band's history while welcoming their new era.
Key Features
Risograph Aesthetic: Utilized grainy textures and misregistered color layers to create a distinct "eccentric retro" look that stands out from typical clean digital posters.
Performance Archive Montage: Integrated real stage photography into the artwork to visualize the "time travel" concept and connect emotionally with fans.
Fan-Centric Merchandise: Designed t-shirts and stickers not just as souvenirs, but as "streetwear" pieces that fans would proudly wear daily.
Collaborative Vision: A design result born from intensive Zoom brainstorming sessions directly with the personnel and the label (Warner Music).
